If you’ve been keeping an eye on the buzz around Hotel Burg, you’re not alone. This luxury boutique hotel has been one of the most talked-about additions to downtown Leesburg, and now, there’s a bit of a shift in plans that locals should know about.
The Rooftop Plan Is Evolving
Originally, there was excitement around the idea of the hotel’s rooftop space being open to the public. Think sunset drinks, skyline views, and a new go-to spot right in the heart of Leesburg. But plans have been recalibrated. Instead of being fully open to the public, the rooftop will remain more exclusive, primarily reserved for hotel guests and members of the property’s private club. Before you cross it off your list the rooftop will primarily serve hotel guests and members, but it won’t be completely off-limits.
Instead, the hotel is opening the rooftop to the public on a limited schedule:
- Wednesdays from 4–10 PM
- The first Friday of each month from 4–11 PM
- Starting April 22
Why the Change?
At its core, Hotel Burg was designed to deliver a more elevated, boutique experience, something that feels intimate, curated, and a little more private than your typical hotel hangout. The rooftop is part of that vision. By keeping access limited, the hotel can maintain that high-end, relaxed atmosphere they’re aiming for less crowded, more intentional, and aligned with the overall brand of the property.
