If you’ve ever wished there were more places to satisfy your donut cravings around here, especially in Ashburn, you’re officially not alone. A popular donut shop that’s been winning hearts (and taste buds) across Northern Virginia is reportedly gearing up to open new locations in the area, including one in Ashburn (and another in Chantilly).
Yes, more fresh, hand-made donuts, kolaches, and pastry delights could soon be local morning staples!
Texas Donuts, a beloved donut brand that started in Texas and has grown into a regional favorite, is expanding its footprint in Northern Virginia.
According to the latest reports the company has secured a location in Chantilly. And is actively scouting space in Ashburn, possibly around the Goose Creek Village shopping center, though a lease isn’t finalized yet.
For anyone who hasn’t yet had the pleasure, Texas Donuts sets itself apart with hand-made yeast donuts baked fresh every morning, and they pack them with creative toppings and flavors that make each bite worth savoring. But donuts aren’t all they do. Their menu also features:
- Savory sausages and kolaches, a Texas-Czech classic twist on breakfast pastries
- Croissant sandwiches and specialty pastries that go beyond your everyday donut run.
It’s the kind of place that feels friendly and local while also delivering Texas-sized flavors, hard to beat for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat anytime.
Right now, Texas Donuts is still working out details on the Ashburn site, so there’s no firm opening date yet. But with a Chantilly location now locked in and expansion planned into Alexandria as well, the chances of this beloved doughnut brand landing here feel very real.
